Texans OLB Mario William left Sunday's game against the Raiders with a pectoral injury and did not return. The injury is season-ending and Williams will miss the remainder of the season. He will go on injured reserve soon.
Williams left the game in the first quarter after recording a sack. He will surgery later in the week.
Head coach Gary Kubiak said on Monday that Williams was improving every day and every game as an outside lineback, and despite the injury, he was very upbeat.
In his first season as an outside linebacker, Williams has five sacks. He has 53 in his career.
