Buccaneers DT Gerald McCoy left Sunday's game against the 49ers with a left ankle injury and may miss time.
"I've seen different things come about on Thursday and Friday, so right now I'm not really motivated to say he's definitely going to play this week,'' head coach Raheem Morris told reporters on Monday. "But I'm not ready to count him out yet, either."
McCoy's agent, Ben Dogra, told PFW, "No breaks. Looks like an ankle sprain."
The Buccaneers activated DE George Johnson from the practice squad on Monday. Morris also discussed Frank Okam as part of the team's plan to replace McCoy, who has 11 tackles and one sack this season.
