Packers-Falcons prediction

I hate to keep repeating myself, but I'm just trying to be realistic. The Packers are playing outstanding football. They definitely look like a team with a great chance to win back-to-back Super Bowls. But they are not perfect. They are not going to go undefeated. I'll go as far as to say they will probably lose 3-4 games. And their first loss of the season comes tonight in the Georgia Dome, where I believe the Falcons will be extremely motivated to make amends for their embarrassing performance in the Pack's divisional playoff rout in Atlanta last season.

We all know Green Bay's defense is flawed. I look for Matt Ryan to move the chains with success, directing a balanced attack much like the one in the Falcons' 20-17 Week 12 win in Atlanta last year. I look for more points to be scored than in that first game. But I think it will go down to the wire the same way, with a walk-off score probably providing the difference. I also see the tight ends on both teams (Jermichael Finley for Green and Tony Gonzalez for Atlanta) playing pivotal roles.

Prediction: Falcons 29, Packers 27
