PFW executive editor and resident Packers expert Dan Arkush presents the fifth of five key matchups this week in advance of the Packers' Week Five game against the Falcons at the Georgia Dome Sunday evening.

Packers PK Mason Crosby and P Tim Masthay vs. Falcons kick returner Eric Weems

Weems, who made the Pro Bowl, also made his presence felt in both of Atlanta's games against the Packers last season. His 40-yard kickoff return, along with a costly face-mask penalty by Matt Wilhelm, set up Matt Bryant's game-winning field goal in the Falcons' 20-17 victory in Week 12. In the Packers' divisional playoff victory in Atlanta, Weems broke loose for a TD on a 102-yard kickoff return. He has great vision, changes speed and direction well and can break through arm tackles.

Green Bay's coverage units didn't do the best job of tackling in the win over Denver last week. A week earlier, they avoided major embarrassment on a brilliant trick punt return for a score by the Bears thanks to a cheap penalty that nullified the play. Crosby pulled off a nifty onside kick for a recovery last week similar to the one he pulled off late last season against the Patriots. Masthay, who came on so strong last season down the stretch, has been just so-so so far.
