The Bucs have invested in the defensive line with their top two picks in each of the past two drafts, but one of the most pleasant surprises at the position, DE Michael Bennett, is an undrafted free agent. Bennett, whom the Bucs claimed off waivers when he was a rookie in 2009, had shown flashes previously, but never to the extent he did in Week Four, wreaking havoc in the Colts' backfield with two sacks and a forced fumble. We hear Bennett has corrected some bad habits in his technique, and it's paying off. The Bucs drafted Da'Quan Bowers in the second round (51st overall) this year and it was expected heading into the season that Bowers would be in a platoon with Bennett at left end. It has become more of a one-man show at left end than a true platoon, though, with Bennett emerging. The Bucs are still very high on Bowers, but there is no urgency to get him more playing time at this point.
