The Jaguars and special-teams ace Montell Owens have agreed on a contract extension, PFW correspondent Vito Stellino reported in the Florida Times-Union on Tuesday.

Owens, who is also a backup running back, made the Pro Bowl last season for his work on special teams, where he registered 10 tackles and was a key blocker on kickoff and punt-return units. He also holds the Jaguars' franchise special-teams record with 95 tackles.

Terms of the deal were not announced for the sixth-year pro.
