The Patriots' offensive, defensive and special-teams players of the week for their Week Four win over the Raiders.
Offense: WR Wes Welker
Welker caught nine of Tom Brady's 16 completions for 158 yards, including a touchdown. He is leading the league in receiving by a wide margin and is on pace for NFL record-setting numbers this season. Even after watching Welker have a career-best day in Week Three, the Raiders had no answer for him.
Defense: DT Vince Wilfork
With multiple injuries on the D-line, Wilfork, like last season, had to play a ton of snaps and he rotated between playing on the inside and the end to try to help keep the Raiders' run game in check. Oakland rushed for 160 yards, but couldn't use that run game to pull off the upset. Wilfork also had the play of the game, picking off Jason Campbell and rumbling 19 yards. It was his second interception of the season.
Special teams: P Zoltan Mesko
The Patriots clearly made a smart choice using a 2010 draft pick on Mesko who continues to punt the ball well. Of his three punts on Sunday, two landed inside the 20-yard line. He had a net of 43 yards and a long of 51.
