Panthers CB Chris Gamble (concussion) did not travel with the team to Chicago for its Week Four game against the Bears. Darius Butler will start in his place.

Gamble was listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report. Gamble has five tackles and three passes defensed this season.

The Panthers claimed Butler off waivers from the Patriots before the season. Butler was a second-round pick in 2009.
