With all of the talk about QB Donovan McNabb struggling and needing to improve his mechanics, it also should be noted that several other systems are failing around him as well. Among those include a flawed pass-catching group. Percy Harvin is electric, but he has been a part-time player for various reasons. And beyond that is doubt. Bernard Berrian has one reception and appears to be a one-dimensional receiver whose one dimension — deep speed — simply isn't that impressive anymore. Michael Jenkins is a solid possession receiver but not a game changer. Among the tight ends, Visanthe Shiancoe has failed to separate consistently, and rookie Kyle Rudolph is limited so far as a blocker. Don't be shocked if you see a little more of Devin Aromashodu, who has looked competitive in limited snaps, and a little less of Berrian. And the roles of Shiancoe and Rudolph could flip a little more, with the veteran blocking and the rookie running more pass patterns, given that he appears to catch the ball very naturally.
