In Week Three, Jaguars OL Eben Britton made his first regular-season start in almost a year — and the first start of his career at left guard.  Britton, who had back surgery to repair a herniated disc shortly before the season began, made his previous 22 starts at right tackle. It was encouraging that Britton was back on the field healthy — particularly helping pave the way for a 100-yard rushing effort by RB Maurice Jones-Drew — but not that it came at the expense of rookie Will Rackley. We hear the decision to move Britton to guard was a combination of Rackley not playing great and ORT Guy Whimper playing well enough to stay in the lineup. Britton has the versatility to play every position on the O-line, but we hear he was not thrilled to be moved inside. GM Gene Smith also was not thrilled to see one of his draft picks benched and another moved to a less glorified position.
