Seven Browns players, including five regulars, were limited Wednesday, but no players missed practice, according to the injury report released by the club.

Those limited in practice included CB Sheldon Brown (groin), WR-RS Joshua Cribbs (groin), WR Mohamed Massaquoi (ankle), ORT Tony Pashos (ankle) and OLT Joe Thomas (knee). Brown and Thomas suffered their injuries in Sunday's game vs. Miami, head coach Pat Shurmur said Monday, though he indicated Thomas' ailment was minor. On Brown, Shurmur said that "we'll go through the week and see how he does."

Massaquoi and Cribbs played Sunday and were "no worse for wear," Shurmur said Monday. (The coach said he had no injury updates when he spoke to the media Wednesday morning.)

Pashos hasn't played all season with his injury. He's listed as the first-string right tackle.

Also limited Wednesday were S Eric Hagg (knee) and LB Titus Brown (ankle), who have yet to play this season.

Browns LB Chris Gocong (groin), RB Peyton Hillis (illness) and WR Carlton Mitchell (finger) practiced fully on Wednesday.

The way we see it

Though the Browns have some nagging injuries to deal with, that's to be expected after three games, and Hillis' return after missing Week Three is a positive.
