The NFL has reportedly fined Browns rookie DT Phil Taylor $7,500 for hitting Dolphins QB Chad Henne as the passer completed a slide in the fourth quarter of Cleveland's 17-16 victory.

Scott Petrak, who covers the Browns for the Elyria (Ohio) Chronicle-Telegram and Medina (Ohio) Gazette, first reported the story, which was confirmed by other news outlets.

Taylor, the Browns' first-round pick, ranks second on the team with 18 tackles.
