Here's how the Vikings rookies performed in Sunday's 26-23 loss against the Lions.

TE Kyle Rudolph — Rudolph emerged as a potential weapon during last week's game with three catches for 39 yards, including a nice 20-yard reception where he adjusted to a ball thrown behind him. McNabb has loved throwing to tight ends since his career began, and if Rudolph continues to be productive, we could see him more involved in the offense.

QB Christian Ponder — If McNabb continues to struggle like he has, it is only a matter of time before pressure starts to mount in Minnesota to get the first-round pick some playing time. Ponder was active in Week Three, but did not play.

DL Christian Ballard — Played some snaps across the defensive line, but didn't do anything of note.

LB Larry Dean — Made one special-teams tackle Sunday.

TE Allen Reisner — The undrafted rookie played for the third straight game and recorded a special-teams tackle.

Rookies CB Brandon Burton, C Brandon Fusco, OLT DeMarcus Love, S Mistral Raymond and DE D'Aundre Reed were inactive.
