The Rams have reached an agreement with veteran CB Rod Hood, according to PFW correspondent Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
Hood last played in the NFL in 2009 with the Titans, and he has also previously played for the Cardinals and Eagles. In seven seasons in the league, he has picked off 14 passes and returned three for touchdowns. An ACL injury in June 2010 forced him to miss all of last season.
To create the roster spot for Hood, Jermale Hines, the team's fifth-round pick from the 2011 draft, was released. Hines was inactive each of the first three games of the season.
