The biggest contribution from a Bears rookie in Week Three came from an undrafted one — WR Dane Sanzenbacher. He made a four-yard touchdown catch in the second quarter and had five catches for 27 yards in the game. Sanzenbacher made his first career start as the Bears opened in a three-receiver set, and he's establishing himself as a trusted target for QB Jay Cutler.

Chicago was without first-round pick ORT Gabe Carimi, who was inactive after suffering a subluxation of his right kneecap in Week Two. The Bears are reportedly hopeful that Carimi will be able to play vs. the Panthers in Week Four, but it would not be a surprise if he needs more time.

Undrafted rookies S Winston Venable and LB Dom DeCicco continued to make their presences felt on special teams, recording one tackle each, and second-round pick Stephen Paea still has yet to make his NFL debut. He's been inactive in all three games.
