Jets TE Jeff Cumberland will miss the rest of the season with a torn Achilles, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

Cumberland limped off the field in Sunday's loss to the Raiders.

The second-year tight end had two catches for 35 yards this season. He had just one catch for three yards in one game last season.

The way we see it

With the Jets often bringing three tight ends on the field, Cumberland's injury hurts. We had heard that he was showing plenty of upside in practice and was going to get more involved in the offense.
