Don't be surprised if the Vikings are the first team to sack Lions QB Matthew Stafford this season, and I believe they will get ample pressure on him with the Dome getting loud early. DT Kevin Williams is back, and he will be playing with a chip on his shoulder. But will it be enough?

After some early stumbles, the Lions' offense will get rolling and continue to press the Vikings' defense into submission. The secondary is not in great shape, and the Lions' pass receivers simply provide too much trouble in matchups. Look for WR Nate Burleson to have a good game.

RB Adrian Peterson might get going, but at some point that Lions front seven will be the story late. NT Corey Williams might have a big edge over Vikings C John Sullivan.

Prediction: Lions 28, Vikings 20

Record: 2-0
