The Patriots downgraded DT Albert Haynesworth, SS Patrick Chung and WR Taylor Price to out for Sunday's game against the Bills.

Haynesworth (back) and Chung (hand) were listed as questionable on Friday's injury report. Chung reportedly underwent surgery on his thumb and it was reported on Thursday that he would not play in Week Three. Price was held inactive for the first two games.

ORT Sebastian Vollmer, DT Mike Wright and TE Aaron Hernandez were ruled out on Friday.

The way we see it

The Patriots are out some significant players for a game against a confident, 2-0 Bills team. Without Chung, safeties Sergio Brown and Josh Barrett will get extra time. The team did activate S Ross Ventrone from the practice squad.

With Hernandez and Price both out, WR Chad Ochocinco should get plenty of snaps on offense. Losing Hayneswoth and Wright means depth is thin on the D-line, although the team did add Landon Cohen this week. They are also without Myron Pryor, who was placed on injured reserve.
