The Cowboys waived DB Bryan McCann and re-signed WR Laurent Robinson on Tuesday.

Robinson, a fourth-year veteran, was with the team before the season but cut after Week One. The Cowboys are expected to be without WR Miles Austin for some time with a hamstring injury.

McCann, the team's kickoff returner and a gunner, had a 97-yard punt-return touchdown and 101-yard interception-return touchdown as a rookie last season.
