According to overnight ratings data released Monday by The Nielsen Company, the Eagles-Falcons "Sunday Night Football" game on NBC registered a 15.7 overnight rating and a 25 share, a gain of three percent over last year's Week Two game, The game also led NBC to another Sunday night win while going head-to-head against the Emmy Awards on Fox.

For the fourth consecutive time that "Sunday Night Football" went head-to-head with the Emmy Awards (NBC aired the Emmys last year), SNF delivered a convincing victory in defeating the awards program by a margin of 67 percent (15.7 vs.9.4).
