Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll said Monday that OLG Robert Gallery will require surgery on a groin injury and miss 4-6 weeks.
The former No. 2 overall pick, Gallery missed the season opener but started in Sunday's loss to the Steelers.
Paul McQuistan will start at left guard, with rookie James Carpenter remaining at left tackle.
The way we see it
This is a tough blow for the Seahawks who have yet to get anything going on offense, and Gallery is the most experienced offensive lineman.
