Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez will miss 1-2 weeks because of a sprained MCL, according to a report by Shalise Manza Young of the Boston Globe.

The second-year pro suffered the injury in the team's Week Two victory over the Chargers, a game in which Hernandez scored a touchdown. He left the game in the second half and was seen in the Patriots' locker room limping.

The way we see it

Hernandez has had a huge start to the season, picking up from where he left off last season. He has been lining up in the slot often this season, so expect to see Chad Ochocinco and/or Julian Edelman get more snaps with Hernandez out.
