Bears ORT Gabe Carimi suffered a dislocated right knee in Sunday's loss to the Saints, Sean Jensen of the Chicago Sun-Times reported.
Carimi, the team's first-round pick, left the game in the second quarter. According to Jensen, Carimi could miss a month of action.
The Bears, who have a bye in Week Eight, have given up 11 sacks this season, including six in Week Two to the Saints — all six coming in the second half.
Frank Omiyale replaced Carimi and likely will start in his place next week.
The way we see it
The Bears are likely to play next week's game against the Packers without Carimi. They also could be without ORG Lance Louis, who missed practice last week and was inactive vs. the Saints with a sprained ankle.
Omiyale and Louis' backup, Chris Spencer, are experienced veterans, but Cutler figures to be under pressure consistently once again against Clay Matthews and the rest of the Green Bay defense.
