According to FOX Sports' Jay Glazer, Colts QB Peyton Manning left the United States for Europe during the offseason to find stem-cell treatment for his injured back and neck. The therapy Manning was seeking is not legal in the U.S.

Whatever he was looking for clearly didn't work, as Manning opted for a third surgery on his neck earlier in September. The Colts' Week One opener vs. the Texans was the first game Manning missed in his 13-year career.
