Texans' Achilles' heel may be lack of WR depth

Although the Texans suddenly find themselves as the favorites in the AFC South, they are not without flaws. We hear a lack of depth at wide receiver and along the O-line could come back to bite the club. Houston avoided a major blow in Week One when No. 2 WR Kevin Walter, who was originally reported to have suffered a broken collarbone, escaped with only a bruised shoulder. The scare was enough to prompt Houston, which had kept only four receivers heading into the season, to re-sign WR David Anderson. With No. 3 WR Jacoby Jones also serving as the team's principal punt returner, the Texans could run into trouble later in the season if any of the other wideouts gets nicked. In Walter's absence, QB Matt Schaub likely will look to TE Owen Daniels to help pick up the slack. Daniels, who was quiet in Week One, comes with injury concerns of his own, however.
