The NFL has handed out fines for violators of the rules in Week One.
The Steelers, a team very familiar with being punished by the league, faced the stiffest punishments. Pittsburgh CB Ike Taylor was fined $15,000 for head butting a Ravens player. S Troy Polamalu has to pay $15,000 for his horse-collar tackle on Baltimore RB Ricky Williams.
From that same game, Ravens LB Brendon Ayanbadejo was fined $15,000 for a horse-collar takedown of Steelers PR Antonio Brown.
There were also fines to Giants S Antrel Rolle $20,000 for spearing Redskins TE Fred Davis and $10,000 to Packers CB Charles Woodson for throwing a punch against Saints TE David Thomas.
