In his first regular-season game since suffering an ACL tear late last season, Arrelious Benn, a second-round pick in 2010, was targeted seven times and made four grabs for 27 yards, but picked up yards in smaller chunks — his longest catch was for 10 yards. The Buccaneers have been very impressed with the speed of Benn's recovery from the injury, but they are expecting him to be more productive. We hear coaches would like to see him play with a greater sense of urgency, too. Benn did miss significant time in the preseason as he made his way back from the ACL tear and is working on establishing a better on-field rapport with QB Josh Freeman. Freeman is most comfortable throwing to WR Mike Williams and TE Kellen Winslow and it's important for some of Tampa Bay's other targets to step up and earn more trust from Freeman to help boost the passing game.
