Patriots QB Tom Brady, Raiders PK Sebastian Janikowski and Ravens OLB Terrell Suggs were named AFC Players of the Week, the NFL announced Wednesday.

Brady, who garnered AFC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the 18th time, threw for a team-record 517 yards in New England's 38-24 win at Miami on Monday night. Brady's memorable night was highlighted by his record-tying 99-yard TD pass to WR Wes Welker.

Those who stayed up for the Oakland-Denver nightcap on Monday were rewarded with another record-tying highlight: Janikowski's 63-yard field goal late in the first half of the Raiders' 23-20 win. The only placekicker to hit two field goals of 60 yards or more in his NFL career, Janikowski, who earned AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors, equaled Tom Dempsey and Jason Elam for the longest field goal in NFL history.

Suggs, the conference's Defensive Player of the Week, once again tormented Pittsburgh, notching three sacks in Baltimore's 35-7 Week One rout. Suggs also sacked Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger three times in Baltimore's divisional-round defeat at Pittsburgh in January.
