The Cowboys added much needed cornerback depth by signing Frank Walker on Tuesday. They released TE Martin Rucker and LB Isaiah Greenhouse.

Walker is a ninth-year veteran and Dallas will be his sixth NFL stop. In 12 games with the Vikings last season, he had 17 tackles and one interception. Walker is mainly a nickel corner.

The Cowboys will be without Orlando Scandrick this week and Terence Newman missed the entire preseason. Mike Jenkins got dinged up in Sunday night's loss to the Jets.

Dallas is expected to have TE Martellus Bennett back, making Rucker expendable.

The Cowboys also brought back CB Tony Fiammetta and cut WR Laurent Robinson.
