Buccaneers WR Sammie Stroughter will have minor surgery on his foot and miss a few weeks, Buccaneers head coach Raheem Morris said Monday.
Stroughter suffered the injury on his 78-yard kickoff return in the first quarter. He had 24 catches for 239 yards last season.
Morris said Preston Parker and Micheal Spurlock will handle kickoff returns. Spurlock had 44 returns last season and took one back for a touchdown.
Also, second-year DT Brian Price injured his left hamstring in the third quarter and had to leave the game. Morris said he will be day-to-day.
