Bears-Falcons prediction

This game will be tight throughout. The Falcons' passing game has the potential to be one of the league's best this season, but the Bears will do a solid job of keeping Matt Ryan and his receivers from making big plays downfield. Atlanta's offense will actually function much like it did last season, with Ryan working efficiently but settling mostly for shorter throws while Michael Turner picks up the tough yards on the ground.

Chicago's pass protection will be spotty at times, and RB Matt Forté will be kept in check for the most part by an Atlanta defense that will make the Bears rely heavily on Jay Cutler to keep the offense moving.

Prediction: Falcons 24, Bears 21
