Saints WR Marques Colston suffered a broken collarbone in Thursday night's season opener against the Packers and will miss approximately four weeks, Fox Sports' Jay Glazer reported.
Colston had six catches for 81 yards in the 42-34 loss to the Packers. Head coach Sean Payton said on Friday that Colston suffered an injury on the second to last play of the game. He had a 23-yard catch on the team's final drive.
In 15 games last season, Colston had 1,023 receiving yards and a touchdown.
The way we see it
The Saints' offense moved the ball well on Thursday night and Colston looked very good. With him out, the Saints will need Lance Moore back and healthy. Moore missed the season opener. This will also mean more touches for Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem.
