Browns starting ORT Tony Pashos (leg) was among three Browns players to miss practice on Wednesday.
"He is still in the boot," Browns head coach Pat Shurmur said earlier Wednesday. "They are trying to get that foot to settle down a little bit. We will kind of diagnose where he is at probably tomorrow and see where we go."
In Pashos' absence, Oniel Cousins and Artis Hicks — neither of whom was with Cleveland at the beginning of the preseason — saw snaps at right tackle Wednesday, Nate Ulrich of the Akron Beacon-Journal reported on Twitter Wednesday.
The other Browns to miss practice Wednesday were reserve LB Titus Brown (ankle) and backup S Eric Hagg (knee).
Browns starting OLB Chris Gocong (shoulder) and TE Benjamin Watson (hip) were limited Wednesday, as was reserve S Usama Young (hamstring).
WR Mohamed Massaquoi, listed as a starter on the Week One depth chart, practiced fully. He's coming off a foot injury. RS-WR Joshua Cribbs (hamstring) and SS T.J. Ward (hamstring) also were full participants, as was backup WR Carlton Mitchell (finger).
The way we see it
The Browns' offensive line lost a key member before the season when OLG Eric Steinbach was placed on injured reserve with a back injury. An injury keeping Pashos out of the lineup would further thin the Browns' OL depth. Hicks is also an option at left guard, where rookie Jason Pinkston is listed as the starter.
