The Cowboys have claimed FB Tony Fiammetta off waivers from Carolina and have agreed to terms with veteran OG Derrick Dockery on a one-year contract, according to

Dockery has spent six of his eight seasons in the NFL in Washington, which released him on March 1. He played in only five games last season, with two starts, because of a knee injury. He had started every game the previous five seasons.

Dockery joins a team that was looking for veteran depth at guard after having released veteran Montrae Holland in its final cutdown Saturday. Holland had been expected to win the starting OLG job after the Cowboys cut veteran Leonard Davis before the start of training camp. However, Holland reported out of shape and had been rehabbing assorted injuries, enabling rookie seventh-round pick Bill Nagy to win the starting job at left guard.

The Cowboys have been overhauling their offensive line, having released four veteran since the beginning of the league year — Holland, Davis, OT Marc Colombo and C Andre Gurode.

Because Fiammetta technically took Holland's roster spot, the Cowboys will have to release another player before adding Dockery to the roster.
