The Titans waived 15 players on Friday, including S Myron Rolle and OL Pat McQuistan. On Saturday, they announced nine more cuts to their roster.
Among the veterans let go were WR Justin Gage and DE Jacob Ford. Ford recorded 15½ sacks during his career with the team.
Tennessee also released LB Rennie Curran, DE Hall Davis, RB Herb Donaldson, TE Riar Geer, TE Cameron Graham, OL Thomas Gray, DE Julian Hartsell, RB Stafon Johnson, WR James Kirkendoll, CB Lequan Lewis, RB Kestahn Moore, WR Michael Preston, FB Joe Tronzo, OG Ryan Durand, DE Pannel Egboh, WR Yamon Figurs, S Vincent Fuller, CB Pete Ittersagen, S Robert Johnson and CB Frank Walker.
Rolle, a 2010 sixth-round pick, spent last season on the Titans' practice squad. He is known for missing the 2009 college football season to study at Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar.
McQuistan is a sixth-year veteran who started eight games for the Dolphins last season.
The team also traded a conditional draft pick to the Packers for FB Quinn Johnson after it was learned that starting FB Ahmard Hall had violated the NFL's policy on performance-enhancing substances and has been suspended for the first four games of the season.
