The Saints announced their cuts on Saturday, and there were no major surprises on the list.

Released were: TE Tyler Lorenzen, WR Montez Billings, LB Dwight Roberson, DT Dexter Larimore, QB Sean Canfield, WR Andy Tanner, CB Terrail Lambert, LS Kyle Nelson, LB Nate Bussey, C Cecil Newton, WR Jarred Fayson, TE Michael Higgins, TE Tory Humphrey, OT George Foster, OT Jordan Black, S Chris Reis, CB Trumaine McBride, CB Quincy Butler, LB Clint Ingram, RB Chris Taylor and S Pierson Prioleau were all let go by the team.

The team also placed RB Patrick Cobbs, S Paul Oliver and WR Joseph Morgan on injured reserve.

RB Chris Ivory was put on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list.

DE Greg Romeus was placed on the reserve/non-football/injured (NFI) list.
