The Jets announced their cuts on Saturday, although the team opted to not let go of many veteran players.

Released were: TE Josh Baker, LB Matthias Berning, WR Michael Campbell, G Trevor Canfield, OT Pete Clifford, WR Dan DePalma, C Robby Felix, DT Jarron Gilbert, RB Chris Jennings, LB Eddie Jones, G Matt Kroul, G Dennis Landolt, S Byron Landor, CB Ellis Lankster, LB Joey LaRocque, OT Nevin McCaskill, WR Scotty McKnight, S Davon Morgan, CB Julian Posey, LB Brashton Satele, C Zane Taylor, WR Patrick Turner, DE Lorenzo Washington, QB Drew Willy, S Tracy Wilson and TE Keith Zinger.

The Jets also made a couple of trades on Saturday, acquiring OG Caleb Schlauderaff from the Packers for an undisclosed conditional draft choice and sending S Dwight Lowery to the Jaguars for an undisclosed conditional draft pick.
