The Eagles have announced their cuts, and there are a few well-known players in the group.

CB Joselio Hanson, who has been a good player in Philadelphia for the past five seasons, was let go. He was thought to be the odd man out with the offseason additions of CB Nnamdi Asomugha and Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie. Former Saints DT Anthony Hargrove, who was signed when the lockout ended, also couldn't make the final roster.

The other players released were: S Jamar Adams, RB Eldra Buckley, WR Chad Hall, WR Johnnie Lee Higgins, OT Austin Howard, S Marlin Jackson, DT Derek Landri, TE Donald Lee, LB Greg Lloyd, OL Mike McGlynn, WR Sinorice Moss, DE Daniel Te'o-Nesheim, OT Fenuki Tupou, OT Reggie Wells.

OT Ryan Harris was released with an injury settlement and OL Jose Acuna was released from the reserve/left team list.

DE Brandon Graham was placed on the PUP list because of a knee injury, and OT Winston Justice was activated from the PUP list.
