Also let go by the team were DT Ibrahim Abdulai, RB Andre Brown, CB Darnell Burks, DB Joe Burnett, WR Michael Clayton, OG Brant Clouser, TE Daniel Coats, C Jim Cordle, LB Phillip Dillard, DE Alex Hall, DE Dwayne Hendricks, TE Christian Hopkins, OT Jarriel King, PK Rhys Lloyd, DE Craig Marshall, OT Jamon Meredith, OG Ikechuku Ndukwe, DE Ayanaga Okpokowuruk, QB Ryan Perrilloux, WR-KR Darius Reynaud, RB Charles Scott, DB David Sims, DB Jerrard Tarrant, LB Adrian Tracy, DE Justin Trattou and WR Todd Watkins, DT Gabe Watson, C Chris White.

QB Sage Rosenfels, the backup quarterback in 2010, was placed on injured reserve because of the strep throat and subsequent back problems that have plagued him for three weeks. That means that David Carr will be Eli Manning's primary backup.

Also, S Brian Jackson (hip) was waived/injured.
