Among the notable players let go were C Geoff Hangartner, TE Shawn Nelson, OL Mansfield Wrotto and WR Craig "Buster" Davis.

Langley, CB Doyle Miller, TE Shawn Nelson, DB Joshua Nesbitt, WR Naaman Roosevelt, C Michael Switzer, OT Jason Watkins, OL Mansfield Wrotto, SS Jon Corto, WR Felton Huggins, LB Jammie Kirlew and OT Ed Wang.
RB Bruce Hall was placed on I.R.
Hangartner had started all 28 games in which he played for the Bills since signing with the team as a free agent in 2009.
Nelson, a fourth-round pick in 2009, was a disappointment in his two seasons with the club, with 20 catches for 181 yards and one touchdown in 17 games.
