Former Ohio State head coach Jim Tressel is back in football as a game-day consultant for the Colts, Jim Caldwell said on a conference call with reporters on Friday.
Caldwell said Tressel will assist him from the booth on replays.
Tressel resigned from his post in Columbus n May. He already was suspended for the first five games of the college season for NCAA violations.
Tressel's former quarterback, Terrelle Pryor, entered the league via the supplemental draft in August, joining the Raiders. Pryor is suspended for the first five games of his NFL career.
