The Saints placed CB Fabian Washington on injured reserve, according to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com. Washington signed a one-year deal with the Saints in free agency.

Washington has been battling a hamstring injury. He spent the past three seasons with the Ravens and began his career in Oakland in 2005. Last season, Washington played in 14 games with eight starts.

The sixth-year veteran has 53 career passes defensed and six interceptions.
