Patriots WR Wes Welker left Saturday night's preseason game with a neck injury but said he was all right as he left the locker room.
Welker suffered the injury while tackling Lions S Ricardo Silva, who had just intercepted a Tom Brady pass. He told PFW correspondent and Boston Herald writer Ian Rapoport, "I'm OK."
Welker had 86 catches for 848 yards and seven scores last season coming off a torn ACL and MCL. It appears this neck injury is not serious.
