The Chargers signed veteran ILB Kevin Bentley on Wednesday to a one-year contract.

Bentley played in 13 games last season for the Texans and recorded 55 tackles and one interception. Bentley also has spent time with the Seahawks and Browns.

To make room, the Chargers waived/injured TE Dennis Morris.

Bentley adds depth to a unit that may be without Stephen Cooper. Cooper will attempt to play with a torn biceps.
