Broncos rookie S Rahim Moore has been fined $20,000 for his hit on Bills WR Donald Jones in Saturday's preseason game, according to the Denver Post.
"I was being a good football player," Moore said earlier in the week about the hit. "I couldn't really get to the ball to pick it off, which is what I really wanted to do. But my intention was just to hit him. our coaches want us to be physical, so I'm going to do what I do."
The hit knocked Jones out of the game. He is expected to be ready for the Bills' season opener. Moore, a second-round pick out of UCLA, is the third rookie to be fined this preseason, joining Buccaneers LB Mason Foster and Jaguars LB Mike Lockley.
