Chiefs LB Brandon Siler will miss the entire 2011 season due to a torn Achilles tendon. The injury was suffered in the team's second preseason game and requires surgery, according to Adam Caplan of TheSidelineView.com.

Siler was signed by the team in early August to back up ILBs Derrick Johnson and Jovan Belcher. Last season he played with the Chargers, where he recorded 44 tackles in 12 games.
