The Jaguars announced Sunday that they have signed veteran UFA TE Joey Haynos. The team waived rookie OL Rob McGill to make room for Haynos.

The 6-8, 270-pound Haynos spent the past three seasons with the Dolphins. He originally was signed as a rookie free agent by Green Bay in 2008. His career totals include 21 receptions for 184 yards and three touchdowns. 

Haynos missed the entire 2010 season after suffering a foot injury in the third preseason game. He appeared in a career-high 16 games with eight starts in '09, tallying 19 receptions for 162 yards and two touchdowns.
