Chiefs rookie WR Jonathan Baldwin is not off to a good start in Kansas City. The first-round pick reportedly injured his wrist in a scuffle with veteran RB Thomas Jones.

Nick Wright of KCSP 610 in Kansas City first reported the injury, which is expected to keep Baldwin out of the rest of the preseason. Baldwin had mysteriously missed practice the past two days.

The 6-foot-4 receiver out of Pittsburgh entered the NFL with some character concerns. In his scouting report in PFW's 2011 Draft Preview book, draft analyst Nolan Nawrocki said that Baldwin is "still immature and does not yet understand what it means to be professional."

Baldwin joins Steve Breaston as the new receivers for Matt Cassel this season, giving the QB more weapons to complement Pro Bowl WR Dwayne Bowe.
