The Seahawks signed S Atari Bigby, who missed most of last season because of injuries.

Bigby has spent his entire six-year career to this point with the Packers, starting 33 games in that time span. His best season came in 2007, when he started all 16 games, recorded 86 tackles and had five interceptions.

The Seahawks secondary could use his veteran experience, as starters FS Earl Thomas and SS Kam Chancellor are both entering their second seasons, while their backups are rookie Mark LeGree and second-year pro Josh Pinkard.

To create room on the roster, undrafted FB Dorson Boyce was released.

The digital edition of Pro Football Weekly's 2011 NFL preview magazine is now available in The PFW Store. This product was completed after the lockout ended and free-agent signings and player trades are reflected in the 32 team previews.
