The Patriots are giving another veteran an opportunity to join the team this week.
According to PFW correspondent and Boston Herald writer Ian Rapoport, the Patriots have scheduled a workout with WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, Chad Ochocinco's former sidekick in Cincinnati.
Houshmandzadeh, 33, spent the 2010 season with the Ravens and had 30 catches for 398 yards and three touchdowns.
The Pats traded for Ochocinco after the lockout ended.
The way we see it
Houshmandzadeh would give Tom Brady another veteran target, but there is a bit of a logjam at receiver right now, especially considering how well second-year pro Taylor Price performed in the preseason opener.
